A slave as a present?

It's your birthday day today and so just as the sun had gone above the horizon and you wanted to make your way to breakfast your father came bursting in the room. "Happy Birthday! It's your great day today! And you know what that means... You'll get a present but... This time you'll get to pick it yourself... We'll head out after breakfast." Your father said in a happy and joyful voice that's still underlined with sleep. Without your knowledge your father had planned to gift you your very own slave/servant but he knew that what ever, who ever he could've picked might've been a really bad choice so he decided to just take you to the slave markets.
